Pharmacovigilance Conference, December 2007   2007-12-08
QAtor was a speaker and sponsoring partner at the Pharmacovigilance conference in Copenhagen December 5-6 with several attendants from big-pharma. Especially drug discovery and clinical experts were represented. The overall focus for the company presentation was digital pharma and the drivers and arguments for a transformation away from paper-based environments.

Research, commercial, and regulatory pressures are driving fundamental change in life sciences organizations these years. The need to form new partnerships is giving rise to a stronger focus on better collaboration and integration technologies. Pipeline pressures in research and development are pushing companies to evaluate and adopt high performance computing technologies in an attempt to locate better targets more quickly. Improvements in operational efficiency and efficacy within clinical development are leading organizations to re-evaluate their knowledge management strategies and focus more on information access and usability.
